Teams : Bradfield Cricket Club
Saturday 1st
Captain :
John Bargent
A rather old "all-rounder". Some say he opened the batting with W G Grace, and that he has the imprint of a cricket ball seam as his fingerprints. Answers to the nicknames of Onion, JR, The Great JR, and many others.
Vice Captain :
Ben Allen
Players
Scott Addyman
Jake Atkinson
Youngster of the Saturday first team, sometimes by a long way. Batsman who likes to play my shots, but can dig in when needed. Currently opening the bat, but more then happy at 3. Right arm bowler, just looking to bowl wicket to wicket in the middle part of an innings. Decent fielder who can take some good catches on my day. Has learnt there is always a single on the last ball of the over when Dave C is on strike, but still lots to learn.

Mark Bolton
Robert Bolton
Bowler who has just learnt the art of how to swing a ball at the age of 54.So it is true that you are never to young to learn. The most important part of a match day for me is a nice cold beer after the game.

Stuart Brown
Aidi Bucksey
Roger Bucksey
Started playing cricket at 14 for Berkley CC in 1964 since then I have played with Hermitage CC, Wanderers CC, Shiplake CC, Burghfield CC, A.W.E CC and now spending the twilight of my cricket career at Bradfield CC. Not so much of a wicket taker anymore, but i do have the skill and knowledge to bore the bastards out! Known by many names, but usually The Old Git!
But not as old as Bargy on a good day!

Nickname- "Radiator", "Paperboy". Radiator is quite apt for this "all rounder" who blows hopefully more hot than cold. But can take out car windows on a good day! Joined Bradfield CC in 1991. aged 24
