Following the success of our coaching session with Gary last year, Gary has agreed to come and do some coaching at our new outdoor net facility.
The session would be in late May / early June to allow batters a chance to have a few innings before getting analysis and advice from Alastair Cook's personal batting coach.
It would need to be on a Sunday morning, and to make it work financially, would need to comprise 2 sessions : either 2 groups of 4 or 2 groups of 6, with each group getting 2 hours with Gary. He would bring a bowling machine so that we can have a machine in both nets.
Given the Sunday fixture list, the sessions would need to be 9-11 and 11-1pm.
The cost per person will depend on how many people sign up and will likely be between £35 and £50 each for the 2 hour session (ie £400 / number of players).
Please can you let me know reasonably soon if you are seriously interested in taking part, so that we can agree a date and get Gary booked. So far I have had interest shown by :
Dan Filmer, Dave Brown, Jack Byrne, Jim Chettleburgh.
Personally I found it really valuable last year, and I also learned a lot by watching Gary coach the others.
