We hope you are doing well, and that yourself & your families are all safe and well.
Yesterday the English Cricket Board (ECB) released guidance about the usage of Cricket club facilities in line with the current Government Guidelines.
Bradfield Cricket Club will be, with immediate effect, opening ONE Cricket net for members use. The net must be booked by following the instructions outlined in this e-mail.
- All government guidelines must be maintained
- If you are experiencing any symptoms you must self-isolate and not attend Bradfield Cricket Club
- If you are meeting somebody from outside your household at the Cricket Club, you must maintain social distancing
- The clubhouse is closed and not accessible
- You must bring your own equipment, no club equipment (including stumps & bowling machines) will be available
- One lane is completely blocked off by the cage and a screen - THIS IS NOT TO BE MOVED.
The club is maintained and managed by volunteers, we are doing our best in the current circumstances to allow those who wish to have access to the ground that access. However should we feel this is being abused, or the rules are not being followed we will have no option but to permanently lock the nets until further notice.
We will be making signs to put up at the nets and try to inform the general public of our process, if you arrive at the ground and somebody else is using the nets when you have a confirmed booking, please approach them whilst maintaining social distancing and explain that you have a confirmed booking as a club member. If they refuse to leave, please leave the ground and inform the club by responding to this e-mail or contact myself or David Brown. Do not use the second net.
The following page will be updated every 24 hours with confirmed bookings, but if you want to book a slot in the nets on the same day, you should wait for an e-mail confirmation before just turning up.
